Privacy policy
This is an English translation of our Datenschutzerklärung. The German version is legally binding.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Pleger Dynamics UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
represented by the managing directors Björn Erik Pleger and Sven Niklas Pleger
Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 18
20459 Hamburg, Germany
Email: admin@pleger-dynamics.de
2. Summary
- This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, analytics or advertising services.
- It loads no third-party content: no external fonts, no third-party scripts, no content delivery networks, no embedded media or social media plugins.
- Small first-party scripts provide visual effects. They store nothing and only send data when you submit the Slidekick waiting list form (section 7).
- No access logs of your visits are stored.
- The website runs on our own server in a data centre in Germany. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.
3. Hosting
The website is operated on a server provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Nuremberg. Hetzner provides the server infrastructure and processes the connection data described below on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
4. Visiting the website
When you visit this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address and information about your browser and operating system. This data is processed solely to deliver the page.
Our web server keeps no access log, so your visits are not recorded. The web server only writes operational and error messages. In exceptional cases these may contain an IP address, for example when a connection attempt fails. They serve solely the security and stability of operations, are not analysed to identify visitors, and are overwritten automatically once the log files reach a fixed size.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free provision of the website.
5. Encryption
The website is only accessible via an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Unencrypted requests are automatically redirected to the encrypted address.
6. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address, the content of your message and any information you provide in it in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry.
Our mailbox is operated by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, which processes messages on our behalf.
We delete your message once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations, for example under commercial or tax law, require otherwise.
7. Slidekick waiting list
On plegerdynamics.de/slidekick you can join the waiting list for our product Slidekick with your email address. You choose what we may inform you about: pre-registration for the release (notification and access at launch) and/or occasional news about Slidekick.
Double opt-in: After you submit the form, we send you an email with a confirmation link that is valid for 7 days. You are only on the waiting list once you have confirmed. This ensures that nobody can sign up someone else's address.
We store your email address, your choices, the times of sign-up and confirmation and, for each, the shortened range of your IP address (for IPv4 the first three blocks, for IPv6 the first 48 bits). The times and IP ranges serve solely as proof of your consent. We use your full IP address only briefly in memory to limit abuse of the form through mass requests; it is not stored.
The legal basis for the waiting list and the emails is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The legal basis for keeping proof of consent is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR, and for the brief rate limiting Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form against abuse.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by an informal message to slidekick@pleger-dynamics.de. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Retention: We delete unconfirmed entries 7 days after your most recent sign-up. If you unsubscribe, we delete your entry immediately. We delete confirmed entries at the latest 12 months after your confirmation.
The data is stored on our server at Hetzner (section 3). We send the emails through our mailbox at STRATO GmbH (section 6). We do not track whether you open our emails or click links. The form sets no cookies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- withdraw consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
An informal message to admin@pleger-dynamics.de is sufficient for all of the above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
9. No automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions or create profiles within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
10. Changes
We will update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes, for example when software is offered for download here.
